I have only been a patient since beginning of year. I rarely need the doctor so have only used the surgery twice other than my new appointment check. The first appointment was a waste of time as they hadn't put me on the system. The other 2 appointments were for my daughter. Both doctors/nurses we saw were great. But to try and get through on the phone is ridiculous. I have been trying on and off for 2 days. To just book a general appointment. Still nothing. Will be transferring to my old surgery.
Disgusting attitude on the phone, people need to learn customer service, and manners. If i could rate no stars i would! BRING BACK BARGOED HALL SURGERY!!!!!
Happened countless times now, told to phone at 8am to make an appointment. Lines either always busy (which you can't blame them for), or it'll be coming up to 9am, and the answer machine says the surgery is still 'closed'.... The doctors (5 stars) are actually really good, if you ever get the chance to see them.
I just moved to this surgery recently from another which I won't name, but had to get in contact with the health board for the way I was treated there.. Bryntirion surgery is miles ahead - their receptionists have always been lovely to me, one in particular is always so kind and friendly to me! The doctor I've seen was great, he was very patient and understanding with me as I suffer with horrible anxiety. I couldn't be happier! Don't listen to reviews - you'll find that people generally will only comment on something if they've had a negative experience. So if you're looking for a new surgery I highly recommend this one! :)
Customer services here is appalling. My wife arrived at her appointment only to be told that, first, she had to wait 25minutes because the systems were down temporarily; secondly, she wasn't even added to the system originally by the admin so she had to be put back on; lastly, there was no appointments available for the rest of the day and she has missed the appointment she came in for, due to the issues on their end. Never had any issues in our previous Cardiff GP. Hopefully, there is a better one around.
