Lovely nature walk through trees and along river bed away from the traffic fumes. Lots of wildlife and fish at certain times of the year. Its a beautifully reclaimed area from 3 old colliery sites.
Great walk, lovely scenery, tranquil. Weather permitting but even then this is wales after all haha.
A lovely peaceful place for a walk can be steep in some areas yet well worth a visit if you can.
A wonderful walk on tarmac watching the trees change colour throughout the year. Even saw a kingfisher on one visit.Just a shame people leave full po bags around.
Moved to Bargoed from Nottingham in December 2017. Just discovered this place today and what a stunning place to go walking right on the doorstep! I adore it already and there's still more to explore!!!I recommend Downloading the map from Caerphilly council website but we didn't when we walked there today. I have it ready for next time though!
